Celebrity perfumes are the fastest-growing segment in the fragrance category, new research has revealed.
Scents from Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Kate Moss are among over 100 celebrity perfumes available today, research NPD has discovered.

Chief executive officer of Parlux Fragrances Neil Katz told the news source that the success of celebrity perfumes lies in the image of the star who is endorsing it.
Describing socialite Paris Hilton, Mr Katz noted that her attitude is an important factor in the success of her perfume line.
"Paris is very involved. She tells us the kind of fragrances she likes and the attitude that she's looking for," he said.
It was recently revealed that pint-sized pop star Avril Lavigne may be launching her own beauty and perfume range, following in the footsteps of fellow Canadian singers Celine Dion and Shania Twain.
