St Tropez offers beauty advice at London Fashion Week
Lucky attendees to London Fashion Week next
month will not only be able to get a sneak preview of the hottest up-and-coming
trends but will be offered a safe, glowing tan from beauty company St
Tropez.
The luxury tanning specialist is sponsoring the event and will be
providing a Tanning Boutique service for fashion and beauty
guests.
Celebrity make-up artist and freelance beauty columnist Kay
Montano explained that the latest fashions look best on tanned
bodies.
She said: "Caramel and honey-toned skin always looks great on the
catwalk.
"When the models are looking pasty backstage and we want to add
luxury and make the girls look vibrant and healthy we always reach for fake tan
to achieve a fast, safe and fabulous look."
According to St Tropez,
fashion and a healthy tan go well together, with revolutionary fashion designer
Coco Chanel sparking the trend for bronzed skin in 1923.
Chanel
popularised the little black dress during her reign as a top fashion designer in
the 20th century. Also, the Chanel suit is still a must-have fashion
item.
