Marilyn Manson's ex-lover Dita Von Teese has
been announced as the new face of sexy lingerie maker Wonderbra.
The
model and burlesque dancer is to also design her own fashion lingerie range as
part of the deal.
Teese said that she hopes to inject her thrill for
lingerie into the new collection.
"I really hope that with this new range
I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of
glamour to people's everyday lives," she told Drapers.
A spokesperson for
Wonderbra remarked: "Dita understands how to make a woman feel
sexy."
Known for her distinctive glamour, Teese is thought to be using
inspiration from the 1940s to create her new lingerie range, which is likely to
be available in September.
Teese has also been making celebrity news
recently as she is to make an appearance at this year's Opera Ball in Vienna as
a guest of socialite Richard Lugner.
