 US actress Eva Mendes has been unveiled as the new face of designer perfume Calvin Klein.
Recently voted the sexiest actress by lingerie brand Victoria's Secret, Mendes is known for her role as Will Smith's love interest in hit Hollywood film Hitch.
The celebrity will appear in a new advertising campaign this autumn for the fashion label's latest perfume line.
Catherine Walsh, the senior vice president of American fragrances at parent company Coty Prestige, praised the star's "iconic beauty".
"Eva Mendes is a striking beauty, with a sultry appeal that resonates globally," she said.
Ms Walsh added: "She embodies the sexy, provocative essence of the Calvin Klein brand."
Mendes is following in the footsteps of other Hollywood beauties who have been the face of the perfume, such as Scarlett Johansson, Kate Moss and fashion model Christy Turlington.
However, since the announcement, People magazine has reported that the star has checked into the famous rehab facility Cirque Lodge in Utah.
